Why do I get the "Your margin is insufficient" message when I try to open a position?
"Insufficient margin" means that there are not enough funds on your account to open a position.
To avoid such an error, please check the Margin Impact indicator before creating a new order.
Margin Impact is the indicator, which shows the amount of your funds required to open a trade.
What can you do in this situation?
- Deposit funds to your account to increase the amount of Usable Margin;
- Reduce the volume of the position you want to open;
- Close other open positions on your account.
