What is leverage?

Leverage is the ratio between the margin amount and the cost of a position, hence, it has direct influence on the margin you need to open a position.

Leverage is a mechanism that allows you to buy or sell assets on the exchange market, having only a part of its value. For example, leverage of x100 means that in order to perform a transaction, you must have the amount 100 times less that the cost of a position.

e.g. you wish to open a position that costs 1000 USDT and your leverage is x100 you will only need 10 USDT to open such position.
